“I qualified as an occupational therapist in 1974 and coined the phrase rehabilitation cost report when I set up the company in 1985. As demand grew, I asked respected colleagues to join me, seeking out occupational therapists who could work to the same exacting standards. For over twenty years I have striven to raise the standards and profile of occupational therapists and latterly, the other health professionals providing expert evidence in personal injury litigation. Institutions with which I have been actively involved include the College of Occupational Therapists (COT) – of which I have just been elected a Fellow - the British Association of Occupational Therapists (BAOT) and the Expert Witness Institute. My role is now strategic decision-making - ensuring that we continue to provide the quality and reliability for which we are known. Elizabeth Waterman and John Ibbotson are responsible for the day to day running of the company.” |

“After working in Mental Health and Paediatric services in the NHS, I went into Private Practice in 1988 and joined Jacqueline Webb & Co as a consultant in May 1989, preparing medico-legal reports, mostly in the paediatric field. In July 1996 I became Director of Services. My key tasks include business development and introduction of extended services to meet customer expectations and the selection of excellent consultants. I monitor our reports, ensuring the best possible service to solicitors and their clients. I am a founding member of the College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section – Independent Practice - and I am co-chairman of its Medico-Legal Forum. I have recently served a three year term s a Director and Trustee of the College of Occupational Therapists/British Association of Occupational therapists and as a member of its Audit committee.” Email: Elizabeth Waterman |
